 STARFISHES


Starfishes are sea creatures which can have more than five arms. These creatures are not fishes, so they can't swim like fishes. Starfishes can be in many color's like purple, blue, orange, red and etc. These creatures have two stomachs and live up to 35 years. These animals are related to sea cucumbers, sea urchins and sand dollars. The crown-of-thorns starfish is the most deadliest starfish alive according to researchers. Instead of a brain and blood they pump sea water into their nervous system. These creature can live up to 30 years. The oldest starfish that ever lived was 480 million years old. The average number of babies starfishes have are about 1,000,000.

  • There are about 2,000 species of these starfishes.
